An exciting opportunity to join our creative, energetic, dedicated team of professionals! American Training, a non-profit Human Service agency, is seeking a full-time Licensed BCBA. In this role you will be responsible for Functional Behavioral Assessments, data review/analysis and the writing of behavior and safety plans.

Responsibilities include:
  • Completing Functional behavior assessments.
  • Writing behavior and safety plans.
  • Analysis of data.
  • Training of staff on behavior plans and data collection.
  • Providing Trauma-Informed Care Training.

Skills needed:
  • Knowledge of Department of Developmental Services and Human Rights regulations.
  • Exceptionally strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to write effective behavior management plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Good community relations skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:
  • Currently licensed in Massachusetts as a BCBA.
  • Three years’ experience working in the field of mental health and developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license required and use of personal vehicle.
  • Satisfactory CORI and background check.
  • Flexibility to work in Residential Homes.

Physical and emotional effort:
  • Frequent walking, moderate standing and driving.
  • Work environment frequently hectic, fast-paced with periods of high stress.
  • Must be able to calmly and analytically respond to crisis and/or crisis situations.
  • Must be able to appropriately intervene in medical, psychiatric and behavioral crises.
