Job description

We're thrilled that you are interested in joining us here at the Amynta Group!

Why This Role Matters
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering high quality insurance and accounting solutions that power the business. You'll work at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and delivery, partnering with stakeholders, developers, and global vendor teams to translate complex business needs into scalable, high impact solutions.
This is an opportunity for a seasoned analyst who thrives in complex environments, enjoys deep problem solving, and wants to own outcomes-not just document requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end requirements definition process for complex, highvisibility initiatives, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and prioritize requirements based on value, risk, and strategic alignment.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable artifacts including business requirements documents, process flows, test plans, and traceability matrices.
  • Work sidebyside with development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to clarify intent, guide solution design, and ensure alignment to requirements.
  • Assess system and process impacts, ensuring solutions integrate effectively across platforms and support longterm enterprise objectives.
  • Lead and contribute to UAT and system testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect management, and root cause analysis.
  • Use data analysis and regression review to evaluate solution readiness and identify risks early.
  • Proactively identify dependencies, risks, and gaps, and communicate clearly with leadership to support timely decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners in India, operating effectively within EST working hours to ensure seamless coordination and delivery.
  • Continuously improve analysis practices by staying current on industry trends, tools, and best practices.

What We're Looking For - Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in IT business analysis, systems analysis, or product-focused roles, ideally within the insurance domain.
  • Experience supporting one or more insurance lines such as Commercial P&C, Specialty, Professional Liability, Cyber, or Workers' Compensation.
  • Strong experience working on complex, multi-stream initiatives with a high degree of independence.
  • Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams through clear, effective communication.
  • Experience with UAT, regression testing, defect management, and solution validation.
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and reconciliation processes.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify cause-and-effect relationships using data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Office tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field.
  • Current authorization to work in the U.S. that does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to Have

  • Experience across multiple insurance product lines
  • Knowledge of relational databases and complex SQL queries
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or similar platforms

What Sets You Apart

  • You're comfortable operating in fastpaced, evolving environments and can manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • You bring a consultative mindset, asking the right questions and challenging assumptions.
  • You're a strong negotiator who can navigate tough conversations while maintaining trusted relationships.
  • You take pride in building solutions that scale, not just checking boxes.

Why Join Us

  • Highimpact role with visibility across the business
  • Opportunity to work on complex, meaningful systems that support real-world insurance operations
  • Collaborative culture where your expertise and judgment matter
  • Exposure to global teams, modern tools, and largescale enterprise platforms
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with Match: Plan for your future with our retirement savings plan
  • Paid Time Off: Accrued time off, plus paid company holidays
