BT is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative HR Manager, focused on HR system administration and general compliance, to join our high-caliber People Team. This role will impact HR operations and services for ≈500 partners and associates. The ideal candidate is looking to join an exceptional, growth-oriented firm focused on our People-First culture.
The HR Manager will ensure implementation of HR policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. Key responsibilities include leveraging the HRIS platforms, reporting and analysis, compensation data analysis, compliant employee recordkeeping, oversight of employment processes from onboarding to offboarding, and maintaining data integrity in the HCM. This role also involves collaborating with other departments, liaising with external parties, and will serve a critical function in the annual compensation process, ensuring fair and competitive practices. Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR technology, designing, implementing, and maintaining HRIS systems to streamline HR processes and support organizational goals.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency, provide technical support, generate reports, and collaborate with HR and IT teams to improve efficiency and data security while ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Prepare reports and present data-driven recommendations to management on compensation strategy and policy adjustments.
  • Support and manage the annual compensation process to include reporting, analysis, and administration of the firm-wide compensation and bonus programs.
  • Develop, update, and ensure implementation of HR policies, processes, and standard operating procedures are in line with legislative changes and best practices.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes to include new hire documentation, personnel file management, and internal notifications.
  • Oversee pre-employment activities such as background and reference checks, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable onboarding experience for all new hires.
  • Oversee adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
  • Validate and respond to employment verification requests.
  • Manage accurate and compliant employee recordkeeping and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Responsible for compensation and engagement survey data collection and completion.
  • Manage immigration matters such as H-1B visa and permanent resident sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues (e.g., Benefits, Payroll, Operations) and liaise with external entities such as vendors and legal counsel.

Required Skills/Abilities/Characteristics:
  • High accountability and results-oriented individual.
  • Able to develop strong, trusting relationships within the organization.
  • Proven ability to remain objective, discrete and exercise common sense at all times.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in HR information systems and MS Excel. Experience with UKG is a plus.
  • Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and complete simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with others.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from various backgrounds at all levels in the organization.
  • Experience in managing administrative processes, including employee records and hiring processes.
  • Ability to work in the office 3-4 days a week.
  • 4+ years of demonstrated progressive human resources leadership experience; Professional services firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
