Department/Unit: Human Resources Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $54,690.00 - $82,035.00 Albany Medical Center is looking for an HR Associate to support their HCM platform, Workday. This position will assist managers and employees in all facets of the employee life cycle while giving someone the opportunity to become exposed to various areas of Human Resources at Albany Med. The role will provide high‐touch support to our community of employees, managers, students and staff, collaborating with the Human Resource Team to provide guidance and coaching on Workday processes and HR programs in order to stay in line with our policies and best practices. Main Duties & Responsibilities Assist managers and employees through the HR Workday processes when needed Provide knowledgeable Tier 1 technical support via phone, walk‐up, and virtual environments such as Microsoft Teams Takes ownership of customer issues from first contact, assuring that the customer knows the person receiving their issue or request is dedicated to assisting them Seek help from colleagues and escalate to HR managers for issue resolution Collaborate with other Albany Med departments including Budget, IS, and payroll to develop solutions and assist in execution when needed Validate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual employee data integrity audits Assist employees in person with HR policy interpretation and Workday inquiries when providing service desk support Utilize the Workday test environment to explore and test potential solutions to troubleshoot issues Interact with leaders across Albany Med to help ensure our Workday functionality is operating optimally based on organizational needs Become well‐versed in Workday‐configured business processes and workflow Perform proactive Workday testing and validation to support semi‐annual system updates or future module implementations such as Benefits and Performance Management Identify system inefficiencies and recommend effective solutions Assist with HR projects and staffing initiatives Ensure that telephone calls, emails, and chats are responded to in a professional and timely manner Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed Requirements Education BA/BS required. Experience HR experience preferred. Workday experience not required; exposure or experience preferred.
