Job Title: HR Project Manager
Location: This is a hybrid position. Must live in commutable distance to White Flint, MD/Rockville, MD.

Job Description:
OBAN is seeking a highly skilled HR Project Manager to provide oversight and management of projects directly aligned with the assigned federal agency. This critical role requires demonstrated experience in project management in the federal sector, with a strong background in leading technically oriented projects and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the overall performance of assigned task orders, formulating work standards, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Supervise contract consulting personnel, providing guidance, support, and leadership in achieving project objectives.
  • Lead in the assignment of contractor schedules and resources, reviewing performance, cost, and budget information to ensure project success.
  • Communicate organizational policies, purposes, and goals effectively to project staff, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Determine project objectives, allocate appropriate resources, and implement strategies to achieve desired results.
  • Interface with client sponsors to address and discuss all aspects of the project, ensuring client satisfaction and meeting project goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in project management, specifically within the federal/government sector.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing technically oriented projects and staff.
  • Strong proficiency in formulating work standards, allocating resources, and reviewing performance, cost, and budget data.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills to effectively manage and guide contractor personnel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to articulate project goals, policies, and objectives.
  • Ability to interface effectively with client sponsors, ensuring alignment and satisfaction with project deliverables.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearances.
  • U.S. Citizen.
