Job description

YOUR IMPACT
You will partner closely with global colleagues to jointly support the complete employee lifecycle, drive continuous process improvements, and solve complex challenges together.
You will lead the day-to-day administration of a comprehensive suite of HR programs and transactional processes, including benefits, recoupments, tuition reimbursement, I-9 compliance, and internal transfers. Operating with a risk-mitigation mindset, you will support firm Members through their entire lifecycle, managing the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes with care. As the primary point of contact via phone and email, you will address employee concerns, resolve complex HR inquiries, and administer general policies in close alignment with regional US HR teams. To maintain data integrity, you will also be responsible for the timely and accurate management of information within McKinsey's People Systems, occasionally performing data analysis and reporting.
You will be based in our Tampa center located in St. Petersburg, Florida as part of our Human Resources Operations team. While the broader Global HR Operations team provides comprehensive support to all locations globally, our team in Tampa will focus primarily on supporting Americas-based colleagues. Our team provides thought partnership on specialized topics like onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and mobility, holding a broad scope of responsibility across the HR spectrum with a dedication to risk management and continuous operational process improvement.
You will also cooperate closely with our counterpart HR Operations teams in San Jose, Gurugram, and Poznan to align on centralized, global HR processes, and other teams such as local HR, Talent Attraction, Professional Development, Finance, Benefits, Payroll, Global Onboarding, and IT teams.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
  • 1+ years of corporate and/or professional services experience, preferably in Human Resources
  • Exceptional accuracy combined with a focus on efficiency
  • Demonstrated personal responsibility and process ownership that drives high-quality results
  • Customer service orientation framed by exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information, personal integrity, excellent judgement, and high ethical standards
