Position Description
Position Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and training programs. This role ensures HR strategies align with company objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture that supports employee engagement, development, and retention.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee the full recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and hiring recommendations.
  • Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure successful integration of new employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO).
  • Develop and coordinate employee training programs to support skills development and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
  • Prepare HR-related reports for management review.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external agencies, benefit providers, and employment-related vendors.

Position Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and related HR tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to company locations as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel to field locations and job sites.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • May require occasional lifting of files, materials, or equipment (up to 25 lbs.).
