Job description

  • Fully onsite HR Manager role based in Montclair, NJ supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation across 3 shifts.
  • Responsible for full-cycle HR ("A–Z HR") for approximately 200 employees at the site within a 500-employee, 3-location organization.
  • Bilingual Spanish required; must have strong communication, employee relations, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Required experience includes manufacturing HR, onboarding, training, HRIS management, timekeeping, workers' compensation, and leave administration.
  • Systems experience preferred with ADP, Kronos, and UKG.
  • Key responsibilities include employee relations, payroll support, recruiting, orientation, benefits coordination, performance documentation, compliance, and termination processing.
  • Oversees workers' compensation claims, accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and employee record management while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Schedule is approximately 8:30 AM–5:30 PM onsite, with one late shift per week (1 PM–9 PM) and one Saturday per month (with a weekday off following week).
  • No direct reports; role partners closely with Corporate HR leadership and cross-functional management teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required; salary up to $100K plus quarterly bonus potential.
