Job Description

The client seeks a Senior Human Resources Manager capable of working independently. Your job will be to partner with management to meet corporate objectives, enhance productivity, and boost morale. Will have human resources oversight for both salaried and hourly employees.

  • Responsible for recruitment, employee relations, benefits, employee development, training, and employee communications
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Promote positive plant culture by implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Responsible for compensation and salary administration
  • Ensure compliance with all employment-related federal, state and local government laws.
  • Manage administration and communication of benefit programs.
  • Manage administrative transactions such as hires, promotions, performance reviews, and terminations. 
  • Provide compliance reports to OSHA and other government agencies.
  • Provide human resources reports as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Minimum five to ten years' experience in human resources, including significant experience in an HR Manager role.
  • Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment with skilled hourly workers.
  • HR certification, SPHR or PHR is preferred.

Should have some knowledge about OSHA, plant safety, and environmental, health, and safety requirements and reporting.
