JOB SUMMARY:

As a member of the 7-Eleven Human Resources team, The Senior HR Leader serves as the primary HR partner for the Store Support Center leaders and employees. This role works closely with business leaders to translate business priorities into people strategies that strengthen organizational effectiveness and enhance employee experience.

The Senior HR Leader is an active member of leadership teams and provides strategic and hands-on support in talent management, organizational design, change management, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and culture initiatives. This role partners across HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Employee Services to deliver programs and solutions that support 7-Eleven's business objectives and cultural transformation.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as the trusted advisor to SSC leaders on all aspects of human resources and organizational effectiveness.
  • Translate business strategies into practical people plans and workforce solutions.
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders to understand business priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Use workforce analytics and HR metrics to identify trends and develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead and support change initiatives, organizational redesigns, and business transformations.

Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters to ensure fair, inclusive, and compliant outcomes.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, practices, and employment laws.
  • Partner with Employee Services and Legal as needed on sensitive matters.

Talent Management and Development

  • Lead talent review, succession planning, and development planning processes.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, career development, and employee recognition.
  • Identify organizational capability gaps and partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to address them.
  • Support onboarding programs to accelerate new employee integration and productivity.

Performance and Compensation

  • Drive annual performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans.
  • Partner with Compensation to support job evaluations, market reviews, and annual compensation planning.
  • Ensure pay and rewards practices remain competitive and aligned with business needs.

Employee Engagement and Culture

  • Analyze engagement survey results and facilitate action planning to improve employee experience.
  • Champion initiatives that reinforce 7-Eleven's values, brand purpose, and employee value proposition.
  • Promote inclusion and belonging in alignment with company objectives.
  • Act as a change agent to help embed desired cultural behaviors across the organization.

Program and Project Leadership

  • Lead HR programs and special projects that enhance HR services and business outcomes.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in assigned HR programs and processes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR policies, practices, and tools.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Employee Services, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation, and other COEs.
  • Represent HR in cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Provide input on organizational needs to shape future HR programs and solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree (preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration)

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 10+ years

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Professional HR certification (e.g., Society for Human Resource Management-CP/SCP or HR Certification Institute PHR/SPHR) preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $147,000.00 Annual
