Job description

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources operations within a fast-paced plant environment. This individual will serve as a strategic business partner to leadership while overseeing employee relations, recruiting, performance management, compliance, and day-to-day HR functions.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all human resources activities for a manufacturing facility including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management

• Partner with plant leadership to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and operational goals

• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices

• Oversee hiring efforts for hourly and salaried positions across multiple departments

• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and workplace standards

• Support training, coaching, performance development, and employee retention initiatives

• Assist with compensation, benefits administration, and HR reporting activities

• Drive HR process improvements and support a positive workplace culture


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred

• 5+ years of HR experience within manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments

• Strong employee relations and leadership experience

• Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices

• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• HRIS experience preferred
