Job Title: Human Resources Intern
General Overview:
The Human Resources Intern will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department. This internship offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, and staff communications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in advancing their knowledge of human resources in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Process new hire paperwork, update employee records, and manage information changes efficiently
โ€ข Coordinate and facilitate onboarding procedures for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition
โ€ข Maintain and update HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
โ€ข Prepare, organize, and analyze reports related to HR metrics and activities
โ€ข Draft and distribute staff communications regarding HR policies, procedures, and updates
โ€ข Perform filing and document management tasks to support compliance and organization
โ€ข Assist the Recruiter by scheduling interviews, posting job advertisements, and managing candidate communications
โ€ข Support the HR Manager and Generalist with special projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
โ€ข 1-2 years of experience in an office environment; HR experience is strongly preferred
โ€ข Demonstrated interest in human resources and recruiting processes
โ€ข Bilingual Spanish/English is highly desirable
