The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic and hands-on partner supporting leaders within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role aligns people strategies with business objectives across operations, engineering, and corporate functions, ensuring scalable growth, workforce readiness, and a strong performance-driven culture.
The Sr. HRBP partners closely with senior leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, manage complex employee relations, and support transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
• Partner with senior manufacturing, engineering, and operations leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management.
• Use workforce analytics and business insights to identify risks and opportunities.
Talent & Performance Management
• Lead talent review and succession planning processes for assigned client groups.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee development, and career progression.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to support technical and leadership talent pipelines.
Employee Relations & Compliance
• Manage complex employee relations issues including investigations, performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Ensure consistent application of policies, collective practices, and local labor laws.
• Support compliance activities including audits, workforce reductions, and policy updates.
Manufacturing & High-Tech Focus
• Support hourly and salaried populations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Partner with leaders on shift-based workforce challenges, productivity, and engagement.
• Support change initiatives related to automation, scaling operations, and new product introductions.
Organizational Effectiveness & Change
• Lead and support reorganizations, restructures, and business transformations.
• Drive employee engagement, culture, and DEI initiatives aligned with company values.
• Act as a change agent during periods of growth and transformation.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Mentor and guide junior level HRBP and HR Specialists.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR programs and processes.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years as an Human Resources Business Partner
• Experience supporting manufacturing or high-tech environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage complex situations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent).
• Experience supporting global or multi-site manufacturing operations.
