We are looking for an HR Admin Assistant that will support the Human Resources team by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and daily administrative operations.
  • Answer and direct all incoming Human Resources departmental calls; monitor the department email and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Support recruitment by monitoring open job postings, forwarding new applicant information and scheduling interviews for recruiters and/or hiring managers.
  • Monitor Tenstreet for new applications and add applications into Paylocity or forward them to the appropriate hiring manager for review.
  • Request verification of employment for drivers required by DOT and update recruiters and/or management as required.
  • Book travel arrangements for new hires and current employees as needed.
  • Prepare new hire welcome packets and driver supply boxes, ship new hire supplies, and maintain HR supply room inventory.
  • Process new hire paperwork (company issued equipment acknowledgment forms, driver safety policy, etc.) and ensure employee files are updated in HRIS.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and filing papers and/or documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assist with preparing and sending internal correspondence.
  • Maintain employee and workplace information, including geofences.
  • Collaborate with HR Manager and department team members on various projects and tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of applicable experience
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to adjust to changing priorities
  • Possess excellent judgment to prioritize work, handle multiple projects, and meet objectives.
  • Adaptable and coachable, with the ability to learn new skills and accept feedback.
  • Exhibits positive attitude with a high level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment.
  • Must lift and move up to 25 lbs
