Job Description

Under direction of Senior Technologist, formulate blends of ingredients and run basic analytical physical testing. 

Selected formulations to be evaluated in new process.

Operate lab scale printing / coating equipment to deposit formulations on substrates and create prototypes for further testing

Performance testing of new prototypes using internal testing methodologies

Recording and documenting all observations and data


Qualifications

Background knowledge in chemistry

Experience in lab scale formulation with potentially hazardous materials (Confident in working safely with chemicals in fume hood)

Good basic lab skills, measuring, weighing, record keeping, physical testing, computer literate
