Department Information
The Department of Leadership, Technology, and Human Development in the College of Education offers a range of programs in education. Our department (http://coe.georgiasouthern.edu/lthd/), includes four distinct programs: Educational Leadership, Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Instructional Technology.
Job Summary
The Department of Leadership, Technology, and Human Development is now accepting applications for a pool of part-time faculty positions to support undergraduate and graduate programs in our department for the 2025-2026 academic year. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis.
Responsibilities
Teach graduate courses in Educational Leadership, Counselor Education, School Psychology, or Instructional Technology, based on appropriate credentials
Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online).
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
For courses 5000 level or below : Master's degree in the specialization area related to the course to be taught with at least 18 graduate semester hours in either Educational Leadership, Counselor Education, School Psychology, or Instructional Technology
For courses 6000 level or above: Earned Doctoral degree in Education or one of its related subfields with at least 18 graduate semester hours in either Educational Leadership, Counselor Education, School Psychology, or Instructional Technology
Classroom instruction experience in higher education
Ability to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience.
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
