Our award winning, Old Lahaina Luau is a well-established business on Maui for 40 yrs. We thrive on sharing the Hawaiian culture through food, dance and aloha with our 350 guests nightly. We are seeking highly motivated, with attention to detail individuals to join our team. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. This role involves authentic Hawaiian cultural dance, and certain qualifications may be considered a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) in accordance with applicable law.

Performance Expectations:

  • Keeps their dressing area clean
  • Comes to show prepared with all items needed to do their shift
  • Is able to put on stage make up according to the standards set by line captains and managers
  • Is able to perform all dances according to the standards set by line captains and managers
  • Prepares all costumes, accessories needed for the show prior to show time
  • Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect
  • Completes job duties as assigned by line captains & managers
  • Able to accept constructive criticism
  • Willing to practice each dance number to meet to our standards of excellence
  • Attends all rehearsals, ,meetings and costume workshops called by Entertainment manager
  • Respects and cares for all communal implements, costumes and supplies provided by the company
  • Reports any broken or damaged costumes, supplies or implements to line captains or managers
