Electrical Assembly & Test Technician: South Beloit, Illinois
Our customer in South Beloit, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Electrical Assembly & Test Technicians to work fulltime on 1st shift. As an Electrical Assembly & Test Technician, you will be responsible for assembling electrical and pneumatic systems and supporting testing processes to ensure equipment meets quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Assembly & Test Technician:
  • Install and route electrical wiring, pneumatic tubing, and instrumentation on equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Terminate wiring at control panels, field devices, and instrumentation.
  • Install and connect electrical and pneumatic components such as motors, sensors, and valves.
  • Perform wire labeling and maintain organized cable management.
  • Assist with equipment testing and verification of system functionality.
  • Support troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues during testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures.
  • Assist with additional assembly or testing duties as required.
Electrical Assembly & Test Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training or relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience with electrical assembly, wiring, or industrial equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Pay for Electrical Assembly & Test Technician: $25.00–$28.00/hour.
