Job Description

Leeding Builders Group, division of AECOM, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our team of construction professionals. 

  • Define project scope, deliverables, and execution strategy for mechanical, electrical, plumbing in alignment with overall project goals.
  • Schedule and run design reviews, manage interdisciplinary coordination (architectural, structural, civil), and close design issues and RFIs.
  • Participate with BIM coordination and clash detection for MEP systems; ensure models and shop drawings reflect current design and field conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications.

About Construction Management-Leeding Builders Group (LBG)

Leeding Builders Group (LBG) is a New York-based construction manager specializing in open shop commercial, residential and hospitality projects. Founded on a reputation of professionalism and quality, with the financial backing of AECOM, we are one of New York City's premier builders.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS Construction Management, Engineering or related curriculum and 6 years of MEP construction management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 6 years of in construction, specifically in the field of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing/piping).
  • Experience from a large General Contractor.
  • Knowledge of construction project management, including software (CMIC).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience in high-rise construction.
  • Experience with construction documentation such as change order processing, RFP's, RFI's, etc. 
  • Experience writing scopes of work, descoping, and leveling bids for MEP trades.
  • Experience running trade coordination meetings.
  • Experience managing MEP trades in the field.
