Job description

Patent Litigator
Are you a patent litigator with a technical edge who wants more than just billable hours? Do you want to shape litigation product strategy for the fastest-growing AI company in IP? Do you want to own how we evolve the patent litigation product at a company that's rewriting the rules?
This is your chance to join a rocket ship!
About the role
We are looking for a super smart and talented Patent Litigator to lead and build out our patent litigation capability as we launch Charts, our new patent litigation product.
You'll be joining the most lean, talent-dense, and fast-moving legal team in London.
You'll be responsible for:
  • Conducting infringement and validity analysis across technical domains
  • Advising on litigation risk and developing strategic recommendations for clients using the platform
  • Working directly with the engineering and AI teams to shape how Charts handles litigation workflows
  • Supporting patent prosecution-to-litigation handoffs across the IP lifecycle
  • Contributing to product development by translating litigation expertise into platform features
  • Managing relationships with outside counsel and coordinating multi-jurisdictional matters
About you
As our founding Patent Litigator, you will have extensive experience handling complex patent disputes through associate or senior associate roles at top-tier litigation firms.
  • 3+ years of experience as an associate or senior associate in patent litigation
  • Technical background - ideally a patent attorney who moved into patent litigation (technical field agnostic: life sciences, electronics, mechanical, etc.)
  • Super smart, hard working, and high agency - the kind of person who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Experience at elite patent litigation firms (e.g. Quinn Emanuel, Kirkland & Ellis, or equivalent calibre)
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to break down complex technical and legal issues
  • Based in NYC or London

Nice to have:
  • Experience across both life sciences and non-life sciences patent matters
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools in legal workflows
  • Prior experience at a startup or in-house legal team
  • Dual-qualified or experience with cross-border patent disputes
What we offer
Competitive base salary depending on skill and experience.
Significant equity - we want you to take ownership in Solve Intelligence and share in the success that lies ahead.
Full visa sponsorship.
Opportunity to work with a super smart and ambitious group of people building something people want.
Private medical insurance.
Free meals.

Impact: 50-90% efficiency and quality improvements.
