Overview

Our Boston-based client is seeking an Email Specialist to join its marketing production team. This role is ideal for someone with advanced technical expertise in email production who thrives in a high-volume, quick-turnaround environment. The Email Specialist will play a key role in building, coding, testing, and deploying email campaigns that support multiple brands and business objectives. This is a contract role through the end of the year and requires onsite presence in Boston three days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and update dynamic templates that enable personalization and targeted content.
  • Manage production from asset gathering through deployment, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Perform quality control, peer reviews, and workflow testing to validate content, links, and data integrations.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and campaign development teams to meet tight deadlines.
  • Apply email marketing best practices around personalization, deliverability, and compliance (e.g., CAN-SPAM).
Must-Have Skills
  • Expert-level HTML skills with experience coding responsive email templates.
  • Proven problem-solving ability in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in email marketing production or digital marketing.
  • Strong working knowledge of CSS and mobile-optimized email design.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver) and Excel.
