Job description

Development and implementation of a project HSE Improvement Plan. Development of a contract HSE Interface Document and ensure compliance with HSE ID requirements. Ensure HSE ID is communicated to relevant personnel.

Attendance at and participation in various HSE meetings Ensure Emergency Response arrangements are in place Liaison with relevant subcontractors representatives on a regular basis regarding HSE issues and HSE performance. Reporting HSE issues and any areas of concern to assignment and corporate management. Promote workforce involvement in all HSE activities.

Maintain an effective system for monitoring HSE performance. Development of management visit programme and monitoring compliance. Conducting leadership visits onshore and offshore.

Ensure all assignment staff understand their individual HSE roles and accountabilities. Lead / participate in HSE incident investigations where required and ensure appropriate action is taken to close out incident actions. Delivery of the management system arrangements including training, awareness and communication and ensuring continual improvement and compliance with current and new legislation.

Nominated contract management system representative, in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements. Monitor performance against agreed objectives, legislative standards, procedures, policies and standards. Facilitate awareness of quality principles and concepts, promoting the review and challenge of working practices and methods to enhance performance.

Promote and communicate project learning's and report any deficiencies within project and corporate functions, recording within IMPact system. Delivery of audit and assessment programme, justifying process improvements, identifying any deviations from standards and procedures and recommending appropriate actions. Audit and assessment focal point for all third party certification and client visits.

Data analysis and reporting of business performance metrics and implement preventative measures. Implement corrective measures, as an output of a process/system failure occurrence to prevent recurrence.
