Job description

Vice President, HSBC Infrastructure Finance, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., New York, NY:
Lead origination and execution of project finance transactions. Structure financing solutions for large-scale projects, including detailed risk analysis and mitigation strategies. Build and oversee the development of complex financial models and project cash flow projections. Manage due diligence processes, coordinating internal teams and external advisors (legal, technical, insurance, etc.). Lead negotiations from clients, lenders, investors and other stakeholders. Prepare and present capital and credit applications as well as deal documentation for internal and external approvals. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical skill development and transaction execution expertise. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive new business opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $235,000.00 to $245,000.00 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Must have 6 years of experience in:
  • Financial statements, project cash flows, and debt structuring;
  • Financial modelling and valuation; and,
  • Working with Sponsors, Lenders, Counsel and Advisors to originate and execute project financings.

Must have 3 years of experience in lead project finance transactions from origination to close.
Domestic travel required up to 20%.
