Role Summary
Join Associated Bank as a Customer Service Account Manager, where you'll deliver exceptional support to account holders and business partners while helping strengthen long-term client relationships. In this role, you'll resolve inquiries, coordinate solutions across teams, and ensure a seamless customer experience through phone and digital communication channels. This is a great opportunity to grow your expertise in financial and benefits-related products while building a career in client service operations.
Please note the position training hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm. After training the position hours are 10:00am - 7:00pm.Key Accountabilities
  • Manage inbound calls and shared mailbox inquiries to resolve account holder questions accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver responsive, professional support for routine, sensitive, and urgent customer issues.
  • Partner with internal departments to resolve concerns and improve the client experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions within client management systems.
  • Organize daily workflows to ensure timely processing of documentation and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Support team operations by backing up other Account Managers as needed.
  • Develop specialized knowledge in assigned product or operational areas, including claims, fraud, or reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with certification, licensing, security, and authentication requirements.
Education & Experience
Required
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in insurance, HSA, or TPA industries
  • Experience supporting clients through phone and electronic communication channels
  • Knowledge of financial products, account servicing, or claims support processes
