HRIS Consultant III – Workday HCM

Location: Nutley, NJ 07110

Contract: Sep 2026 – Mar 2027

Pay Rate: $80/hour on W2


We are seeking an experienced HRIS Consultant / Workday HCM professional to support, configure, optimize, and maintain the Workday HCM platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday HCM and HRIS systems.
  • Design, configure, and test Workday business processes end-to-end.
  • Manage Workday security administration, permissions, and data governance.
  • Develop complex reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday reporting tools.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into HR technology solutions.
  • Lead/support HRIS projects including testing, implementation, training, and process improvements.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and recommend system/process improvements.
  • Support HRIS audits, compliance, and data integrity.
  • Mentor team members and provide Workday expertise.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of HRIS/information systems experience preferred.
  • Strong hands-on Workday HCM experience.
  • Experience with Workday configuration and business processes.
  • Strong Workday Security administration experience.
  • Advanced Workday reporting, analytics, and dashboard experience.
  • Experience gathering requirements, testing, and implementing HRIS solutions.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
