The role involves leading and developing a team of HRIS professionals and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Workday technology platform. The HRIS Manager is also the subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM, security administration, business process design, compensation setup, end user experience, and reporting and analytics. **What You Will Do:**Configure Workday business processes, plan setup, security roles, calculated fields, condition rules, EIBs, and reporting.โ€ข Set priorities, coordinate and participate in the daily workflow for the department, ensuring quality of work and timely completion of assignments.โ€ข Monitor department productivity; develop and implement procedures to optimize effectiveness; ensure that space, equipment and technology are used effectively.โ€ข Oversee departmental personnel and monitor attendance and performance issues.โ€ข Serve as mentor to departmental staff and assist in staff development.โ€ข Project manage smaller projects where necessary.โ€ข Maintain all HR business systems within the firm to ensure 24/7 availability.โ€ข Maintain security access to all HRIS applications.โ€ข Deploy configuration changes throughout all environments.โ€ข Manage and document application integration interfaces between inter-dependent business applications.โ€ข Engineer and unit test new applications and application changes.โ€ข Successfully test, implement, and transition solutions to production.โ€ข Advise and support project teams on technical issues relating to HR database and applications.โ€ข Scope and design detailed technology solutions to specific HR business needs.โ€ข Communicate status and key business information effectively to both management and internal customers.โ€ข Serve as third level help desk support for areas of technology assigned.โ€ข Act as liaison and subject matter expert between HR, IT, Finance and other departments.โ€ข Understand SDLC (system development life cycle) from solution selection through implementation and support in conjunction with the various IT departments and other firm systems.โ€ข Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and HR regulations.โ€ข Assess, recommend and develop technical trainings for HR staff and other HRIS users.**Who You Are:** โ€ข Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent preferred. โ€ข 8+ years of HRIS experience, preferably within a professional services environment, including experience in data management, system design, system integration and system upgrades. โ€ข Working knowledge of privacy regulations, including but not limited to CCPA and GDPR. โ€ข Supervisory experience required. โ€ข Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards. โ€ข Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities. โ€ข Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with both technical and functional users.โ€ข Experience with Workday required with a preference for Workday payroll, leaves, and time.
