Purpose:
The HRIS Systems Specialist plays a key role in supporting and optimizing the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the HRIS, ensuring employee data remains accurate and up to date, and serving as a technical resource for HR and other stakeholders. In addition, this role provides support to payroll administration, serving in both a primary and secondary capacity.
Keys to Hire:
The ideal candidate possesses strong HRIS expertise, solid data management skills, payroll experience and proficiency, and the analytical ability to support broader HR initiatives.
Technical Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing organization
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes and data management principles.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS functionalities, data structures, and system configurations.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS platforms, such as Dayforce, ADP or similar systems.
  • Experience in HRIS implementation, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate HR data into meaningful insights and reports.
  • Experience with payroll processing and payroll administration including time & attendance systems.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements in handling HR data.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and maintain HRIS processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure efficient and consistent system usage.

  • Provide technical support and training to HR users, ensuring they can effectively navigate and utilize the HRIS.

  • Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to streamline HR processes and data integration with other systems.

  • Serve as a point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and provide timely resolution or escalate issues as necessary.
  • Conduct regular audits and data checks to identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors within the HRIS.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and operations teams for data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting requirements.
