Job description

Seeking an experienced HRIS/Benefits Analyst for a short-term contract to assist with the pre-implementation activity of a new HRIS system. This is a brief coverage through the immediate post-launch activity and managing of day to day tasks. This is an essential role to ensure a seamless transition and accurate benefit plan administration up to and through the system go-live.


You will learn our existing benefits plans (with United Healthcare as our U.S. provider), support daily benefits administration, and play a key role in new hire orientation, onboarding, and offboarding processes. You will work closely with our current HRIS/Benefits Specialist for training and transition.


  • Manage day-to-day benefits administration, including processing enrollments, terminations, and life events.
  • Support new hire orientation, onboarding, and offboarding with respect to benefits.
  • Prepare for and assist in the go-live of our new UKG HRIS implementation.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and implementation consultants to ensure accurate benefits data migration and system setup.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries during the transition period.
  • Help document processes and train HR colleagues as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all benefit plan requirements and assist with audits, if needed.
  • Work with existing HRIS platforms (experience in Paylocity and UKG preferred).
