Overview

Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as an Associate Human Resources Systems Analyst.


This important role will provide technical support, business process improvement and configuration and testing of technical solutions for Human Resources. The individual will also provide end-user documentation and training to ensure an understanding of HR systems. It is important to be a collaborative partner to the business units and internal HR systems teams to effectively support and provide quality results.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, similar degree or equivalent work experience.

  • A few years’ experience supporting business applications and managing security accesses.

  • Performing data analysis to identify issues and determine resolutions.

  • Required discretion with access to confidential information, practice of SDLC and applications best practices.

  • Working knowledge of SQL queries.

  • Understanding of ITIL and ITSM methodologies.


The ideal candidate would also have experience in:

  • Knowledge of HR systems which support HR, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, Payroll, and other HR related functions.

  • Adept at learning various vendor systems, including configuration tools specific to each application


Virginia Housing requires associates to live and work within the Commonwealth of Virginia.


This is a hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 days remote).


This position will close at midnight on 8/20/2026


Hiring Range: $71,000 - $96,500


A background check will be performed as a condition of employment.


A Conflict of Interest Act Disclosure form and Secondary Employment Disclosure form will need to be completed as a condition of employment.
