Job Summary
As an AI Engineer you will live at the intersection of business and technology, partnering directly with business units across to discover use cases, design and build Copilot agents, and serve as the internal subject-matter expert on AI best practices, governance, Microsoft Copilot, and Anthropic Claude. The organization is a Microsoft 365 Copilot-forward organization, and this role is central to driving solutions, adoption, and measurable business value with Copilot. You will teach our workforce AI best practices, shape our responsible-use and AI governance posture, and help turn these tools into measurable business capabilities.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with business units across the business to discover, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI solutions.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy Copilot agents using both Agent Builder and Copilot Studio.
  • Ground agents into data sources, including SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, and line-of-business systems.
  • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert for Microsoft Copilot and Anthropic Claude.
  • Provide support for complex Copilot questions, including model selection, grounding behavior, and enterprise data protection nuances.
  • Lead training sessions, office hours, and hands-on labs in partnership with Microsoft and third-party consultants.
  • Develop and maintain enablement content, including SharePoint resources, newsletters, FAQs, and reusable prompt libraries.
  • Help operationalize Responsible Use of AI policy in partnership with Legal, HR, Cybersecurity, and Compliance.
  • Define guardrails for agent publishing and approval workflows, sensitive data handling, and sanctioned versus unsanctioned GenAI tools.
  • Track adoption KPIs (active users, license utilization, agent usage, training attendance) and report measurable business outcomes to leadership.
  • Stay ahead of the Microsoft and Anthropic roadmaps and proactively communicate impact to the business.

Qualifications:
  • 3-6+ years of experience in an IT, business analyst, automation, or AI/data role with demonstrable hands-on AI delivery.
  • Expert-level fluency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Cowork, Copilot agents, and Copilot Studio
  • Working knowledge of Anthropic Claude, including prompt patterns, model strengths, and multi-model use within Copilot.
  • Strong prompt engineering skills and the ability to teach them in plain language.
  • Experience with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) and basic familiarity with Azure AI concepts.
  • Strong understanding of data security, sensitivity labels, permissions, and AI governance principles.
  • Excellent communication skills - equally comfortable with executives, analysts, and field operators.
  • Self-directed, curious, and energized by being the AI advocate inside a fast-moving organization.
