Description
Spiral Solutions and Technologies, Inc. (Spiral) is seeking a Strategic Assessment Analyst to join our Team! This role will support USSTRATCOM J73.
Location: STRATCOM, Offutt AFB
Requirements
  • Prepares and staffs Joint Assessments to include: the Annual Joint Assessment (AJA), Chairman's Risk Assessment (CRA), Risk Mitigation Plan (RMP), Joint Military Net Assessment (JMNA) and other joint assessments as directed.
  • Provide USSTRATCOM leadership with critical analyses of Joint Staff and OSD products (e.g. Chairman's Risk Assessment, Joint Military Net Assessment, and National Military Strategy).
  • Review restricted and open-source materials to support Campaign Plan and Risk of Strategic Deterrence Failure assessments.
  • Write assessments on how specific events occurring in the global strategic environment impact Command objectives.
  • Develop briefing materials that capture assessment findings over time for presentation to Command leadership.
  • Assist with developing measurement criteria to evaluate progress to (or regression from) Command objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships for the purposes of gathering information and sharing assessment results across STRATCOM HQ, Components, and Interagency partners

Requirements
  • Must have 7+ years of CCMD experience and:
  • A mixture of experiences in political science or international relations from a geopolitical perspective with a firm grasp of strategic and military risk.
  • 3+ years of experience as an action officer with knowledge of Joint Staff and CCMD planning, staffing and tasking processes.
  • DoD operational and strategic assessment experience; or
  • Experience conducting mission analysis, developing objectives, effects/measures of effectiveness, tasks/measures of performance, and indicators.
  • Top Secret/ SCI security clearance

Desired but not required: An advanced degree in International Relations or Comparative Politics is desirable.
Other Requirements:
  • Must pass drug testing
  • Must be able to read and write effectively in English
  • Physical requirements include prolonged sitting and standing work does require moderate amounts of walking, may carry heavy items.
  • Background check and drug screen, required
  • Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC)
