Position Summary:
The Director of HR Shared Services (HR Operations) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for centralized HR service delivery. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing shared services models that support efficient, consistent, and high-quality HR operations across the organization. The Director partners closely with HR leadership and business leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and to enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and Lead HR Shared Services functions including HR operations, employee transactions, and service center activities.
  • Design and implement scalable shared services strategies.
  • Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean or similar methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and business partners.
  • Oversee HR systems to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Lead change management initiatives.
  • Manage vendors and service providers.
  • Develop and manage departmental budget.
  • Coach and develop HR team members.
  • Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Minimum Experience:
7-10 years of HR experience with leadership responsibilities. Experience in HR operations or shared services environments. Knowledge of HR systems and compliance requirements.
