Job description

JOB PURPOSE

The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner, Reporting System is responsible for analyzing Human Resources (HR), Employee Relations (ER) and Safety related data and review/monitor then provide it to relevant department. This position needs to develop and/or integrate HR system so that MPA can manage HR, ER and Safety related information from the system.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Analyze HR, ER, Safety, and organizational information/data; prepare reports, workforce analytics, and business insights- 25%
  • Manage, develop, and integrate HR, ER, Safety, Organizational Management, and HR technology systems, including HRMS, ADP, and related platforms  - 25%
  • Prepare HR planning reports, organizational management reports, and business plans to support organizational goals and strategic initiatives - 20%
  • Partner with HR teams and business leaders to develop, implement, and improve HR, ER, Safety, organizational management programs, policies, and systems- 20%
  • Complete assigned training, support user training, system adoption, compliance initiatives, and other assigned projects and responsibilities- 10%
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  • Assist management team and employees with strategic planning and problem solving.
  • Understand and administer State/Federal laws relating to HR, ER, Safety and Employee practices.
  •  Manages projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
  • Respond and report to US government and internal/external agencies on HR/ER/Safety related issues.
  • Create, revise and/or maintain company-wide HR/Employee Relation/Safety policy, practice and maintain, develop relevant systems accordingly.
  • Analyze HR/ER/Safety information and data, manage it then provide it to relevant department.
  • Listen to the voice  of employees and create, modify and/or administer HR, ER and Safety programs after communicating with the relevant teams.
  • Work with all other Human Resources employees to develop effective overall HR/ER/Safety programs and systems.
  • Benchmark best/most effective HR/ER/Safety processes, procedures and programs to make MPA better
  • Utilize Annual employee satisfaction survey and/or audit result to make recommendations for improvement and ensure improvements are implemented
  • Training of MPA employees in HR/ER/Safety related topics. Work with HR Training Administrator and WC & Safety administrator to identify MPA HR/ER/Security related programs, policies and systems.
  • Participates in new HR/ER process/Safety procedure and program reviews and demonstrations.
  • Update/Maintain/manage/develop GHRIS systems such as ADP, ER and Safety management system.
  • Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of Human Resources Management System (HRMS) upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains HRMS system tables. Documents process and results.
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and apply key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.
  • Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRMS application/tools knowledge.
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Prepare monthly HR/ER/Safety status report and continually improve the format and contents according to management's request.
  • Manage and maintain MPA's Organization chart, including conducting audits and collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain organizational management systems and processes.
  • Coordinate with Korea HQ and internal departments to develop business plans and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved. Communicate with Korea HQ and prepare ad hoc reports upon Korea HQ's request.
  • Prepare ad hoc report upon MPA management's request.
  • Translate English report into Korean and Korean report into English upon management's request
  • Keep manager informed of any issues on a timely basis.
  • Facilitate corporate training programs, such as Halogen system.
  • Maintain Standard Operation Procedure of HR/Employee Relation/Safety related programs, and any other tasks if manager asks in HR/ER/Safety
  • Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences. Uses these data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.
  • Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various employees and peers to accomplish project goals.
  • Recommend process, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains new system users.
  • Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVEL
  • Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM 
  • Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air
