Overview
The Global Emerging Markets business covers a comprehensive Emerging Markets (EM) product suite of Foreign Exchange (FX), Rate and Credit from vanilla to complex products. It also provides financing solutions spanning capital markets, loans, and asset-backed financing, from investment grade to distressed. In this role, you will be providing liquidity in United States Dollar/Euro denominated credit bonds to Deutsche Bank clients who range from financial institutions to corporates and execution, trade capture and Risk/Profit and Loss signoff for the trading books.

What You'll Do
  • Make markets in hard currency emerging markets credit bonds over voice and electronic platforms like MarketAxess and Bloomberg and manage market, credit, interest rates, FX, basis, gap, and counter-party risk in the trading book
  • Monitoring all rate volatility markets and identifying trade ideas between different markets plus ability to develop hedging strategies
  • Market and cross illiquid securities between clients with or without warehousing risk (agency trading)

How You'll Lead
  • Work closely with sales to grow the franchise across corporate and financial institutions
  • Working with relevant analytical teams to develop new algorithms and liaising with various internal control functions to manage the trade through its life cycle; take ownership of traded products and ensure modelled correctly in systems

Skills You'll Need
  • Proven experience in a Flow Credit trading and market making business, employed in regulated trading role, and worked with United States, European Economic Area, and United Kingdom clients
  • Deep expertise in credit bonds issued by High Yield rated issuers, deep knowledge of Credit Markets and knowledge of LatAm Emerging Markets, knowledge of credit default swaps
  • Strong track record of client engagement and established track record of market making on electronic platforms
  • Strong quantitative skills (preferably in econometrics) and product knowledge and an understanding and proficiency managing risk in trading books
  • Fluency in English mandatory, knowledge of other languages from the region desirable
