Human Resources Director – Long Term Care FacilityPosition Summary

The Human Resources Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the longterm care facility. This position ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting a positive, residentcentered culture. The HR Director manages recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, payroll coordination, and retention initiatives to maintain a stable and engaged workforce.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all HR operations for the facility, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee fullcycle recruitment, including job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, and hiring for clinical and nonclinical roles.

  • Conduct newhire onboarding, orientation, and required training to ensure regulatory compliance and employee readiness.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, credentials, and licensure tracking in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.

  • Support department leaders with coaching, corrective action, and performance management processes.

  • Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and communication of benefit programs.
