Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Warehouse Systems is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Human Resources Generalist. We are looking for an efficient and reliable HR Generalist to undertake a variety of HR activities including but not limited to the following: Recruiting, hiring, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, employment laws and regulations including Affirmative Action and other.

 Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or higher, or one year of HR related experience with Generalist work.
  • Must work onsite in Houston, TX.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

Preferences:

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing and/or construction environment
  • SHRM or other professional certification
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish
