Job description

Human Resources Administrative Assistant 

ASRC Federal is a leading government contractor furthering missions in space, public health and defense. The primary responsibility of the Human Resources Assistant is to provide day-to-day support to the Human Resources team.  This position supports the Case Processing Operations Center (CPOC) Contract under the Defense and Intelligence Group.  

This position will be required to report on-site 2-3 days per week in Boyers, PA, and may vary depending on department needs. 

Key Role/Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative support for CPOC Human Resources team 

  • Assist in managing the CPOC HR e-mail mailbox 

  • Update HR databases information as required 

  • Assist with HR/Onboarding coordinating start dates with new hire candidates 

  • Print materials for HR presentations for new hire orientation 

  • Conduct new hire orientation presentations 

  • Assist with completion of I-9 process  

  • Answer new hire questions 

  • Must be able to multi-task and effectively adjust to changing priorities 

  • Understand and accurately apply company policies, procedures, and safety rules and regulations 

  • Prepare ad-hoc and monthly staffing reports as needed 

  • Other projects as assigned 

Requirements 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. 

  • Excellent organizational, communications and time-management skills. 

  • Act as a reliable and supportive team member. 

  • Experience with basic office equipment, e.g., photocopier, facsimile, and computer programs.  

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  

  • US Citizenship, due to nature of work performed and contract requirement. 

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule; ability to adjust to changing workload. 

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • One year of administrative support and/or HR experience preferred. 

  • Experience with HRIS (Dayforce preferred) 

  • Experience working in the Government services industry is preferred.
