Mountain View Humane is hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!

Do you enjoy soft tissue surgery and/or dentals? Do you want to make a positive impact in the community?

Mountain View Humane is a non-profit dedicated to ending pet overpopulation in Southwest Virginia. We offer low cost spay/neuter services as well as wellness, dentistry, and euthanasia services. We are searching for an associate veterinarian who has a heart for the underserved population.

  • We also offer a 4-day work week with experienced LVTs and vet assistants.

The associate veterinarian will be trained in high volume spay/neuter techniques, and will have an opportunity to perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries, if desired. An onboarding period is expected to train and increase surgical efficiency in HQHVSN. Even if you have never worked in a high-volume setting before, we can train the right candidate!

Position Summary

The Associate Veterinarian provides surgical and medical veterinary services in compliance with all rules, regulations, and laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States.
