Adecco is recruiting for a Digital Printing Press Operator for a client in Liverpool, NY. This is a permanent, direct-hire position, paying between $20 to $25.77/hour, depending on experience and certification level.

Positions are available on 1st & 2nd shift.

Job Description:

  • Interprets order specifications, set-ups and/or special instructions and any other specification.

  • Responsible for the proper care and general maintenance of all tools, gauges and equipment used. Responsible for routine equipment/fixture inspection. Reports repair/replacement needs to supervision

  • Follows Digital printing operational procedures in order to guarantee operational processes are completed in determined time.

  • Work in process revision and follow up.

  • Quality processes follow up to minimize process variation to meet defined standards.

  • Ensure productivity and quality standards for assigned jobs.

  • Fill correctly and timely Quality documentation.

  • Productivity HrxHr reports assurance.

  • Inventory control and follow up for supplies needed in order to ensure production process.

  • Correct and efficient use of raw materials available for each job.

  • Ensure autonomous maintenance routines are completed meeting requirements.

  • Participates in ELS training and Kaizen events as appropriate for department.

  • Participates in 5S within department/group and assists other areas as required.

  • Based on business need, assists/ supports in other job functions within process or other company processes within scope and ability.

  • Must be safety conscious and follow established PPE. As a member of a production support team; trains, assists, and supports other team members in problem solving and meeting department goals. Continuously reviews current processes and searches out improvement methods to improve product/process quality, reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 0-2 yearโ€™s previous experience.

  • Good ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems.

  • Must possess or acquire certifications within specified timing in order to perform the job.

  • Good experience with or ability to learn multiple functions within the facility.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participative work system.

  • Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical aptitude and logical problem solving skills necessary.

  • Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner.

  • Must be motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.

  • Certification in hazardous materials training is a plus.

  • Pre-press knowledge

  • HP Operators: Experience in Digital printing.

  • HP 7K/6600 Level 1 and/or 2 Certification preferred

  • Use of computers and electronic mail.

Abilities

  • Operates under moderate to minimal supervision. Resolve most questions and problems through knowledge of established policies and refer only the complex issues to a higher level.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.77 per hour
