Job description

We are seeking Network Services - Journeyman level, to support upcoming mission-critical efforts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support work that involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.
  • Analyzing and recommending network requirements.
  • Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
  • Analyzing network workload.
  • Monitoring network capacity and performance.
  • Diagnosing and resolving network problems.
  • Recommending network backup and recovery procedures.
  • Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a network engineering position.
  • Thorough knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Must be able to use/configure/troubleshoot/operate Cisco, Juniper, Brocade and/or HP network devices.
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance

    The expected annual salary range: $98k - $146k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, work location and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
