Maintenance Technician
Primary Location: Libertyville, Illinois
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician for our premier client in Libertyville, Illinois.
Education and Experience »
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred:
  • Experience with HP MJF and Markforged printers.
  • Basic understanding of 3D printing processes and materials.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HP MJF printers, Markforged printers, and other additive manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Safety & Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with environmental and material handling regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance schedules, reduce downtime, and enhance overall shop efficiency.

Facility & Shop Support:
  • Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment such as air compressors, dryers, and ventilation systems.
  • Ensure proper calibration and functionality of all shop tools and machines.
