Your tasks

  • Promote and Expand Additive Manufacturing Usage: Actively support the headquarter and all plant locations in the region to strengthen and increase the application of additive manufacturing technologies.
  • Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM): Utilize strong design skills to create and optimize parts specifically for additive manufacturing processes, ensuring functionality and cost efficiency.
  • Provide Training and Technical Support: Deliver hands-on training and guidance to engineers, technicians, and operators on 3D printing technologies, best practices, and design principles by creating your own training material.
  • Operate and Maintain Additive Equipment: Ensure proficiency in operating all available 3D printers and related equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Technology Research and Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging additive manufacturing technologies and processes; proactively evaluate and implement new solutions to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cost Optimization through Additive Solutions: Identify opportunities to leverage additive manufacturing for cost savings in production, tooling, and prototyping.
  • Standardization and Best Practices: Develop and implement standardized procedures and guidelines for additive manufacturing across all supported locations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to integrate additive manufacturing into existing workflows and projects.
  • Project Management and Reporting: Manage additive manufacturing projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all additive manufacturing processes meet internal quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX).
  • Hands-on experience with multiple 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLS, SLA, Metal AM).
  • Ability to operate and maintain 3D printers and post-processing equipment.
  • Understanding of materials used in AM (polymers, metals, composites).
  • Self-driven and proactive in learning new technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and training abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple plant locations.
