Job description

Make a Difference Behind the Scenes

At Pathways to Life, Inc., we believe that strong leadership starts with strong support. We're a growing behavioral health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families through compassionate care and meaningful community partnerships - and we're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to help our CEO do that work even better.

If you're the kind of person who thrives on organization, takes pride in anticipating needs before they arise, and finds purpose in being the backbone of a mission-driven team, we'd love to hear from you.

About Pathways to Life, Inc.

We are a behavioral health organization committed to excellence, integrity, and service to the communities we call home. Our team is passionate, collaborative, and driven by one goal: improving lives. When you join Pathways to Life, you're not just taking a job - you're becoming part of something that matters.

The Role

As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you'll serve as a trusted partner to our chief executive - managing priorities, protecting time, and ensuring that every meeting, communication, and commitment moves forward with purpose. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that sits at the center of our organization's leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the CEO's calendar, scheduling, and meeting coordination to keep priorities on track

  • Screen and manage executive communications - emails, calls, and correspondence - with professionalism and discretion

  • Prepare reports, briefing materials, presentations, and executive correspondence

  • Coordinate travel logistics and itineraries as needed

  • Track action items, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure nothing falls through the cracks

  • Maintain organized records, filing systems, and executive documentation

  • Provide administrative support for special projects and CEO-led initiatives

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (preferred)

  • 3-5 years of executive administrative experience, ideally supporting a CEO or senior executive

  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or nonprofit environments is a plus - but not required

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication with a polished, professional presence

  • A commitment to confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Don't meet every requirement? We still want to hear from you. We're committed to building a talented, diverse team and recognize that the right person may bring experience that looks a little different.

What We Offer

  • Salary: Compensation will be based on experience, education and skills.

  • Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage

  • Retirement: 401(k)

  • Time Off: PTO and Paid Holidays

  • Growth: Professional development opportunities and room to grow within the organization

  • Purpose: The chance to contribute daily to an organization that improves lives in our community

How to Apply

Click the Apply Now button to submit your application. To be considered, please include both a targeted resume that highlights your executive administrative experience and a cover letter that speaks to why you're passionate about this role and how your background aligns with our mission at Pathways to Life, Inc.

Applications that include both documents will receive full consideration. Due to the volume of applications received, only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.

We look forward to hearing from you.
