Housing Office Student Assistant (Fall)
Job no: 493974

Pay Range: Targeted salary of $8.25 - $9.00/hr, based on education and experience.
Benefits Eligible: No
Work Schedule:
  • Varies based on business needs.
  • Most often Monday through Friday scheduled around classes, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Travel: May be required
Position Introduction:
This position's hours are typically Monday-Friday, between 8am-5pm. Schedule is approximately 20 hours/week. These student staff members work in the Housing Office and are responsible for administrative tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering student questions about housing and related services, giving tours, and addressing customer concerns, answering and routing phone calls, operating standard office equipment, maintaining filing systems and records, maintaining work calendars, and other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
  • Must have completed at least one year of college.

Skills:
  • Must have basic math skills and ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office
