Job description

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines. 


Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.


Qualifications Preferred

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
