Job description

Position Overview

Manages, performs and oversees housekeeping related functions for assigned areas of the St. Camillus campus. Ensures clean and sanitary conditions are maintained in the facility for the health, comfort, and safety of our resident, staff and visitors.


Qualifications & Job Standards

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years previous housekeeping/environmental services experience
  • Minimum of one year leadership experience in housekeeping/environmental services 
  • Intermediate Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook skills
  • Strong knowledge in use of housekeeping equipment, chemicals and processes
  • High degree of written and verbal communication skills; ability to accurately relay information to others in a clear concise manner; ability to read and write in English
  • Possess excellent team building, problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve problems using experience, maturity and sound judgment
  • Leads by example with ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
  • Ability to prioritize workload, direct and evaluate staff in the completion of assigned tasks
