Job description

Housekeeping Supervisor Job Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor will supervise, train and inspect the performance of assigned Housekeeping staff during PM (2:00pm โ€“ 10:30pm with flexibility) shift ensuring that all procedures are completed to the established standards. This person will assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.

Pay Range: $26 - $28 per hour

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Supervise staff in the performance of all daily procedures to ensure they are performed to standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
  • Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities.
  • Inspect guest rooms, guest corridors, elevator foyer area, vending area, service area including linen closet, staff restroom and storage area.
  • Inspect public areas/bathrooms, restaurants, spa, pool area, offices and service areas after being cleaned by respective personnel, using designated checklists.
  • Assist staff with their job functions where needed to ensure optimum cleanliness and service standards for guests.

  • Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but itโ€™s also a lot of fun!
  • Experience. Previous hospitality experience providing exceptional guest experience required.
  • Knowledge. Proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling and usage of equipment.
  • Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through legible writing. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • People Person. Being a great team leader means you love working with people and solving problems.ย
