Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Comfort Inn Atlanta Downtown
Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role supports and trains housekeeping staff, conducts inspections, and ensures guest satisfaction through consistent service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; report shortages or requisition supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with cleaning tasks during high occupancy or staff shortages.
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with front desk, maintenance, and management teams.
  • Prepare shift reports and maintain accurate housekeeping records.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform room inspections with a critical eye.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
