The Aspenwood Company, a leader in the senior living industry has an opportunity for an experience Housekeeping at Village of River Oaks, an Independent Living, Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community.

Pay Rate: $22/hr.

The Housekeeper Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residences, and the common areas.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate staffing schedules.
    Plan and schedule cleaning programs, including but not limited to annuals, move-in preparations, window, and carpet cleaning
  • Monitor inventory levels, order all equipment and supplies needed for department, and ensure the safe handling and storage of them
  • Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, restrooms, kitchens, resident laundry and apartments and other areas
  • Assist with the make-ready of vacant apartments as assigned.
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
  • Ensure staff perform all duties in accordance with safety standards of the company and all applicable OSHA and health and building codes.
  • Promptly report to the Director of Plant Operations all safety and security incidences.
  • Ensuring the proper controls of keys, equipment, supplies, inventory and other property.
  • Collaborate with workers and other staff members.
  • Perform duties of other housekeeping staff in the event of absenteeism.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
