Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Operator is responsible for safely receiving raw materials, shipping finished products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This position ensures compliance with company procedures, DOT regulations, and safety standards while supporting production and customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, unload, and stage incoming materials.
  • Prepare, inspect, and load outbound shipments.
  • Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods.
  • Verify shipping and receiving paperwork for accuracy.
  • Inspect containers for proper labeling, condition, and closure.
  • Ensure hazardous material shipments comply with DOT requirements.
  • Maintain FIFO inventory and assist with inventory counts.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping.
  • Report on equipment issues, damaged materials, and safety concerns.
  • Support production and maintenance activities as needed.
  • Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and operating procedures.

Qualifications
